Farmatodo “Lioness”

Farmatodo is a health and beauty retailer chain from Venezuela with branches in Colombia and Argentina. It’s comparable to Boots, Superdrug, Walgreens, and CVS.
This particular ad was part of a four-ads campaign and the last one to be shot in a two-day filming schedule, with two ads shot each day.
My call time was approximately 10 p.m., and we commenced shooting after midnight. While I was preparing and waiting for my turn, I reviewed the storyboard to assess the number of takes and estimate the duration of the shoot. My initial prediction was around 4 a.m. I shared this estimation with the makeup and wardrobe teams, who were exhausted from the demanding two-day schedule. They had previously mentioned that they had finished the previous day around 9 a.m., after a long and tiring night. Therefore, my 4 a.m. estimate seemed unrealistic.
I firmly believe that it is crucial to be mindful of the efforts of the entire team and how our contributions can either enhance or hinder the project’s rhythm. Maintain professionalism and responsibility for your tasks, and strive to deliver your best work each time. This collaborative approach is essential for the smooth execution of a project. I actively participated in all camera and light rehearsals for each segment. Additionally, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to revise the entire script, as the agency and director were highly pleased with my casting. For each take, they presented the initial script, allowing me to suggest alternative phrases and actions. We then rehearsed and filmed accordingly.
However, we encountered some delays towards the middle of the shoot due to technical issues with the lighting. I approached the wardrobe and makeup teams, apologising for the inconvenience and informing them that my estimate had changed to 4:30 a.m. To everyone’s joy, we were wrapping up at 4:30 a.m.
Initially, the ad was titled “Variety”, but it was later changed to “Lioness”.
The positive experience during this production significantly enhanced my credibility and led me to be considered for another substantial campaign.
